Over the weekend, athlete Chris Votu won his third medal at the Pacific Mini Games in the half marathon.
The veteran runner’s latest medal adds to his other two gold medals, he picked up earlier last week.

Australian gold medalist swimmer Stephanie Rice arrived today on the start of her visit to the country to help under a UNICEF vaccination program.
While here in the country Rice will also travel to the provinces.

Solomon Islands will play host to a special international sports star tomorrow with a country visit by Australian swimmer Stephanie Rice.
Rice, one of Australia’s best swimmers is a triple Olympic gold medalist and is well known with close media interest in her social life.
Rice will be in the country in support for a vaccination campaign.

Fred Maetaloa says because they didn’t have Government support, NOCSI wrote to the Pacific Games Council to pull out of the race for the 2015 Pacific Games.
