Votu picks up another medal over the weekend

Over the weekend, athlete Chris Votu won his third medal at the Pacific Mini Games in the half marathon.
The veteran runner’s latest medal adds to his other two gold medals, he picked up earlier last week.

NOCSI withdraws bid because of lack of support from Government

The President of NOCSI says Solomon Islands pulled out of bidding for the 2015 Pacific Games because the Government withdrew its support of the bid.
Fred Maetaloa says because they didn’t have Government support, NOCSI wrote to the Pacific Games Council to pull out of the race for the 2015 Pacific Games.
