More than three hundred logging licenses were given to logging companies involved in the destruction of Solomon Islands natural forests.
The Solomon Islands Diagnostic Trade Integration Study 2009 report says that as of July 2008, a total of 333 licenses were issued, 150 of which were milling while 183 for felling.
